I wanted to introduce myself and give you a little background of my life, my goals, and how I came into selling cannabis for a living. 

Let’s start from the beginning. I grew up North of Lake Ontario in a small city called Belleville, ON. I took a keen interest in plants at a young age because I grew up with a mother whose passion was gardening. So it comes as no surprise taking care of the garden became my main hobby. 

To be honest, I wasn’t always into gardening as a child, but it was more about spending time with my mom, which I loved. She taught me all the best cultivating techniques and passed on all her tips and tricks. 

I will never forget one sad day when my father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He tried radiation and chemotherapy with no effect, and there was not much we could do to get his appetite up. It was hard watching someone I loved so dearly suffer from so much pain. Sometimes I feel it hurt him more, watching my mom and me and seeing him in his condition. 

As his life was near the end and we were running out of options, our family doctor suggested using cannabis. He would not give a medical prescription back in the early 2010s, but off the record suggested my dad try this method. We got ahold of some cannabis, and it worked right away. His appetite was up, and he put on a healthy 5 pounds in the first couple of weeks. 

We are not a wealthy family, so we couldn’t afford to keep buying weed, so we added a few cannabis plants to our garden. Around this time, my gardening hobby turned into a passion. I knew I couldn’t cure his cancer, but I was determined to make him as comfortable as possible.

I’m happy to say that our cannabis plants turned out and helped him during the final 5 months of his life. I was determined to use my time, skills, and motivation to help others who can benefit from cannabis use. 

This was when I decided to kick it into high gear, obtain a personal grow license, and transfer the skills and experience to a larger scale straight from my garage. My mission was now clear: to grow top-quality cannabis and offer them at affordable prices to help people in similar situations to my family. 

I remember working my full-time job at the local supermarket and would come home each day and head straight to my garden. 

I spent a long time researching the ins and outs of the cannabis industry and made a lot of friends along the way. I exchanged knowledge with many people across Canada and found a grower with a large farmland property willing to help me on my mission. His name is Michael, and he’s been my business partner ever since. We share the same beliefs and goals and perfectly complement each other’s skill sets. 

Michael provided me with greenhouse equipment and large plots of space to grow out of. He specializes in and loves making edibles and treats and just wanted the shake from the weed to make distillate. 

From there, everything else fell into place, and we steadily grew into one a large cannabis farm and producers for the past decade. 

Our goals had stayed the same as when we started our business: to cut out all the middlemen so that we could bring quality cannabis and great tasting edibles from our farms straight to your door at the lowest prices in Canada. We only take minimal margins so that we can continue to run our business and pass the rest of the savings to our valued community.
